“I have not failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won’t work”

Thomas Edison

A growth mindset is a belief that we can influence, and change outcomes, and that what we think and therefore believe will affect our engagement and commitment to the way we apply ourselves.

A growth mindset looks at the barriers and says, “there is always another way!”

Research shows us that having a growth mindset supports us to learn, develop, improve and grow. It encourages us to take on challenges and helps us realise we can improve with consistent effort. It supports the concept of resilience and developing grit.

On October 29th 2020, Melo and Kylie presented a webinar on ‘An Introduction to Growth Mindset’ IN the webinar They discussed:

  • The three different types of mindsets we may have.
  • The vital role parents play in building our child’s cause and effect thinking
  • How having a growth mindset not only will benefit us and our child but also our relationship
  • Some strategies we can put in place to develop a growth mindset for ourselves and our child.

Watch the webinar and learn why so many parents include Growth Mindset in their toolkit of knowledge to bring out the very best in their children.
