Eliza Hoare

Peer Facilitator

Eliza is a resident of the beautiful Darkinjung land’s peninsula area on the Central Coast of New South Wales (NSW). She has 3 children aged 10, 7, and 3, with her eldest and youngest children both with Autism, along with other aspects of neurodivergence. Eliza was a primary school teacher from 2008 – 2019, taking breaks to focus on having her own children.

Her journey as a mother of neurodivergent children redirected her passion for learning towards the disability sector. When she is not researching strategies for disability support, Eliza enjoys reading, exercising, making dodgy art, and indulging in her favorite pastime – eating!
