Virtual Medical MyTime

Created specifically for parents and carers of children with disability, delay, or autism who also have medical needs, this peer group provides a safe space to share your hospital and healthcare experiences, seek advice, and find validation and healing.

We feature occasional guest speakers and insightful topic-based discussions to grow your skills. Regular check-in sessions connect you with other families, helping you build a supportive community of people who understand your situation.

Our groups are delivered online on Zoom. They are facilitated by an experienced peer support facilitator who is the parent of a child with disability and medical needs.

What Parents Say

I love that kindred is run by passionate and inspiring families that understand what it’s like to have a child who is medically fragile with disability.    I have learnt things, been inspired and encouraged by Kindred on so many levels. I wish I had Kindred in the early years of navigating our child’s life.

Kindred was the first time I met other families who are like me.
