Kindred’s Submission to the National Carer’s Strategy

At Kindred, we understand the vital role that carers play in supporting children with disability and developmental delays. Their dedication and resilience are the backbone of our communities, and we are committed to ensuring their voices are heard at every level of policy and decision-making.

We have submitted our recommendations to the National Carers Strategy. Our submission highlights the unique challenges faced by parents and carers of young children, including barriers to accessing support, the emotional and financial toll of caregiving, and the need for more inclusive systems that truly meet the needs of families.

This submission was informed by the experiences of the families we support and reflects our vision of a future where carers are empowered, connected, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.
