Joanne is an energetic connector, explorer and creator. Her passion is to lead and inspire new forms of open (open-minded, open-hearted) collaboration that transcend old ways and reach new brave heights.
Joanne is an architect and academic by training and has been recognised as a passionate and leading tertiary educator. In her university roles, she launched a number of collaborative programmes that merged community, government, and academia, including an innovation lab at UTS, which collaborated with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. She recently launched and closed down an affordable tiny-housing startup.
Currently, Joanne consults to the NSW Department of Education’s Catalyst Innovation Lab and is Co-Founder with her sister Alison of Wonderchums, a start-up aimed at teaching children, with and without a disability, about inclusion through creativity and collaboration.
